Radtec are proud to announce that we will be supplying the radiator, transmission cooler and engine breather tank for the VXR backed race car for 2011. These are done with our in house designed advanced cores,custom end tank/brackets and fabrication abilities.
The team will be racing in the FIA/MSA Pro Modified class with Red Victor 3, a 3000hp turbo charged car that is still street legal!! The Red Victor team have been racing for over 20 years in various race and street legal classes. Now they are taking the ultimate step for door cars with the new car. Team principal and driver Andy Frost says “We ran a turbocharged car for 4 years in a class called Street Eliminator setting world and class records along the way. We needed a cooling system, trans cooler and breather tank that would work on the track and street,cooling the engine and trans and keeping the engine gasses under control with the immense stress of 3000+hp. We called Keith and Darren and spoke to them about supplying us with what we needed and they were able to make us what was required.
This kind of tech and product support is vital for any successful team and we're very happy that Radtec are coming on board with us"
Keith says "When Andy called we were keen to be part of the Red Victor 3 project. The project is really pushing the boundaries of cooling/breathing technology due to the amount of heat and stress generated by the engine, and it offered us an opportunity to provide technical assistance as well as component supply to a truly one off project.”
